Beat Nights at The Arena, Pleasure Beach Blackpool, have long been the place for young skaters to have an ice cool Sunday night, skating to the latest tunes with the ice rink lit up in a whole array of colours and laser effects.
This Sunday sees a special Beat Nights UV Party take place from The Arena. Crews have been busy installing special UV lighting set to make the ice, and everyone on it, glow through the night.
DJ Daz will be hitting the decks where he is set to mix up the latest tunes as well as take requests from skaters. DJ Daz is best known for DJing throughout the UK, working with acts such as N Dubz, Tiny Tempa and Olly Murrs.
Skaters are invited to come and join the fun, kitting themselves out in bright, vibrant colours that are sure to stand out under the UV lighting. A pair of Pleasure Beach wristbands are up for grabs for the best, brightest dressed skater on the ice.

The Arena at Pleasure Beach Blackpool has long been famous for hosting amazing ice shows including the much loved Hot Ice Show. Joining the line up of spectacular ice performances are The Blackpool Ice Twirlers.
After 26 years involvement in charity ice shows and galas, John Holden and the Blackpool Ice Twirlers in association with Pleasure Beach Blackpool, are pleased to bring you a spectacular show featuiring pairs, free, show skating and of course, the Blackpool Ice Twirlers.
The Blackpool Ice Twirlers are a team of young skaters who, over the past 13 years, have performed at ice rinks nationally and abroad. They have skated before Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean and even featured in a TV advert for Peter Kay! Alongside the Twirlers there will be a whole host of local, national and professional skaters. With so many performers taking to the ice, this show is not to be missed!
Proceeds f rom The Blackpool Ice Twirlers go to Woodlands School, a special school in Blackpool working with children who have severe and profound learning and physical needs.
T h e s c h o o l w o r k tirelessly to ensure every child achieves the best possible outcomes.
Funds raised will help provide equipment which would greatly enhance the learning experiences in school of a number of pupils. For some, the only time they can stretch and move is when they are out of their wheelchair. Woodlands School wish to enable young people to be out of their wheelchair and stretching at the same time as they access their learning alongside their peers. The 'Acheeva Learning Station' enables a child to have the freedom of movement not possible in specialist seating whilst safely accessing the curriculum alongside their peers.
